Chapter one: Damians ReturnIt was late and the mall was about to close, as the click of my heels hit the floor. I dashed towards the exit carrying my bags from shopping earlier today. The night security guard nods as I pass him. “Night Ma’am.” He says with a gentle smile. I smile in return to the old man and pushed against the door to open it. Once outside, I glanced over seeing a woman struggling with her baby in the stroller and her bags in the other hand, as she made her way to the car.
